Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist theGeneral Manager in managing all aspects of hotel operations
- Oversee front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest services
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Supervise and train hotel staff to ensure exceptional customer service
- Assist with human resources tasks such as hiring, training, and scheduling employees
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Conduct night audits to verify accuracy of daily transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Assist in managing budgets and financial performance of the hotel
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or related field is required
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures and guest services
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in phone systems and computer software applications used in the hospitality industry
- Bilingual skills (multilingual) are highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Exceptional guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
